Electronic Plating LPKF Contact S4
The LPKF Contac S4 allows robust galvanizing in a compact safety housing.
The plate is passed through separate tanks for copper cleaning, activation and coating. This produces reliable copper layers on the surfaces of all existing tracks, including multilayer boards.
The S4 Contac can process up to eight layers with a maximum aspect ratio of 1:10 (hole diameter to PCB thickness). It offers an optional subsequent step of tinning for a superior surface finish and better weldability.
Optimized anode plates and periodic reverse pulse plates ensure homogeneous deposition of plated copper and carbon activation using black hole technology, integrated air blowing, and an additional process step for cleaning through secure connections to the copper surface without the problem of the detachment layer. The result is a homogeneous layer thickness in the holes and in the flat metal surface of the substrate.
